| Check out updates here. We will try to update this page through the week of each holiday camp. - - - January Holidays. (We no longer put photos up here because the children take some photos home with them) The theme this holiday is... JUNGLE RUMBLE
One of the biggest camps we have had for some time thanks to a huge number of volunteers. Beeeeeeautiful summer weather. Woke to blue skies reflecting blue off a still lake. The children have been learning that they are awesomely and wonderfly made. Then at 10am we slipped, slopped, slapped and grabbed hats and headed out to a day packed with ski biscuit, horses, mudslide, pool, canteen, go karts and more with HEAPS of slip, slop slapping the sun block on in between. What better way to finish a day before evening games than with a beautiful roast dinner, (okay so that was my favourite part of the day. Before the rest of this evenings programme, I have a few minutes spare to write this while all the children are cleaning their cabins for cabin inspection. They enjoy that almost as much as the tuck shop... not. Although the bribery of points seems to help them get motivated... :) DAY TWO Another great day in paradise. A few clouds that made the day just perfect for being out there on activities all day. Finsihed off all the major activites. DAY THREE More cloudy today. About to head out for a massive camp game after walking to the other side of the lake... (the long way, not straight across... we don't have enough algae to walk straight across) Then we will have our final afternoon of activities after lunch. Tonight we have our traditional 'top five' songs with laser lights and black lights etc before our midnight feast before sleep. I guess midnight feast just sounds cooler than 9pm feast... It's been an AWESOME camp with AWESOME leaders and AWESOME kids... April Holidays Don't forget to book early. We were surprised how early we had to start a waiting list in December. Bookings open 28th Feb.
