What does a leader do
Each term break and over Christmas we run a holiday program for one week. Leaders arrive on Sunday night to meet other Leaders and understand how camp is run before the campers turn up around 3pm on Monday. The camp finishes on Friday after lunch.
Each term break and over Christmas we run a holiday program for one week. Leaders arrive on Sunday night to meet other Leaders and understand how camp is run before the campers turn up around 3pm on Monday. The camp finishes on Friday after lunch.
The camp is divided into cabins. Each cabin will have four to seven campers and two leaders. New leaders are paired with experienced leaders. These cabins stay together for activities, meals, stories in the sharing shed, duties, and games. Leaders need to be responsible for looking after their cabin through out the day.
Each camp has a structure and theme to enhance the great fun and activities running throughout the week. Past themes include Jungle, Pirate, and Wild West. |
